William Theodore Heilman

Bill was born May 13, 1946, in Buffalo, NY to Raymond and Dorthy (Lehner) Heilman. He married Norma J Findlay from Oil City, PA on March 27, 1968. Bill and Norma were married for 49 years until Norma’s death in April 2017. Bill and Norma lived in Holland, NY for 16 years and Ft. Pierce, FL for 33 years. Bill recently moved back to NY to be close to family.

Bill graduated from Holland Central High School in 1964 and went on to serve in the U.S. Army from 1964-1967 1st Battalion 87th Infantry. Bill worked as an “A” Millwright at Bethlehem Steel in Lackawanna, NY; Supervisor at Hercules Inc in Vero Beach, FL and Maintenance at Pursuit Yacht in Ft. Pierce, FL.

Bill is survived by his sister Nancy Heilman from Arcade, NY; two daughters Gloria L Swiatkowski from Holland, NY and Christine M Lader from Jupiter, FL; four grandchildren Joshua W Swiatkowski, Jeramy M Swiatkowski, M. Riley Lader and Cassandra J Lader; as well as 2 nephews and 3 nieces.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Dorthy Heilman; wife, Norma J Findlay; brother, Raymond Heilman; sister, Shirley Hackett; sister, Jackie Ebert.

Rest in peace dear dad, grandpa, papa, brother, uncle and friend. You were loved and you will be missed.
