He was born on August 6, 1966 in Virginia, a son of Harmon R. Gray Jr. and the late Thelma Jean (Dudley) Gray.
Jimmy worked for NIBCO in Stuarts Draft for 33 years, lastly as an Area Leader.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his fiancée, Amy Wheeler of Stuarts Draft; four sons, Justin Gray and wife, Holly of Stuarts Draft, Jordan Gray of Staunton, Aaron and Zach Gray, both of Staunton; two grandchildren, Cora and Brady Gray; brother, Chuck Gray and wife, Trina of Stuarts Draft; nephew, Hunter Gray; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; a special friend, Roger Howdyshell; fur babies, Bentley, Bella, Zoey, Nash, Toby, Zander and Lexi; and his extended NIBCO family.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Stuarts Draft Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Paul F. LaPrevotte officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Waynesboro, VA.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Wheeler, Scott Lunsford, David Aistrop, Curtis Bosserman, Russell Lowery, and Jerry Bryant. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Howdyshell and John Tanksley.
