Born in New York to Albert and Suzanne Armetta, Pete lived a life filled with curiosity, humor, and a love of the outdoors. Hiking and exploring nature brought him joy and peace, and he carried that appreciation with him wherever he went. He also cared deeply about his community and was active in local politics, always bringing thoughtfulness and sincerity to the causes that mattered to him.
Pete's life was full of unique passions and connections. As a child and young man, he competed in roller-skating competitions, where he built lifelong friendships that he cherished and kept close throughout the years. Known as a true friend to many, Pete also valued his solitude, finding balance in the quiet moments of life.
He is survived by his loving mother, Suzanne; brothers, Daniel and wife Coleen, Matthew and wife Lisa; nephew, Daniel; niece, Alexandria and her fiancé Kyle; and great-niece, Maddox.
Pete was preceded in death by his father, Albert, and his brother Joseph.
Pete's kindness, warmth, and unique spirit will be deeply missed, but the memories he created will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
A private remembrance will be held at a later time. In Pete's honor, the family asks that you remember him by taking a quiet walk in nature, lend a hand to a neighbor or support a local cause. Things that Pete himself held dear.
