Robert William Rickard

He was born November 4,1939 in Woodstock, Virginia.

Bob was a very respectful and loving family man, as well as a hardworking man.

His membership of West Waynesboro Church of Christ was very much a part of his life.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Drema M. Rickard; sons, Bobby Rickard and wife Rachel of Louisa, Va, Kevin M. Rickard of Frederick, Md., Steven J. Rickard and wife Samantha of Jefferson, Md.; step-son, Randall Meadows; two sisters,, Winnie Helsey of Edinburg, Va., Linda George of Woodstock, Va.; four grandchildren, Joseph Michael Rickard of Seymour, Tn., Kelly Ann Rickard of Louisa, Emilee Boone of Jefferson, Md., Amanda Stakes of Walkersville, Md.; great grandchildren, Preston Walker, Jonah Rickard, Ibra Rickard, Luke Rickard and Walker Carswell.

Following cremation a memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at West Waynesboro Church of Christ, 2212 Cortland St., Waynesboro, Va. with Herb Zabel officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory.
