Husband of Monika Taylor; loving brother of Suzanne B. Taylor of Stow, Jennifer Chiasson and her husband Michael of Hudson; proud Uncle of Andrew Chiasson of Hudson; predeceased by his parents, Nancy (Blackler) Taylor of Sudbury and Charles J. Taylor Jr. of Meredith, NH. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends and their children who called him “Uncle Chuck”.
Chuck graduated from The Winchendon School after attending Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. He went on to attend New England College. A natural salesman like his father, he worked at Framingham Ford and then at his family’s business N.B. Taylor & Co., Inc. Realtors in Sudbury for many years. Prior to his recent illness, Chuck loved to be the center of attention and the life of the party. His booming voice and innate ability to tell a story in such detail was astounding. The lifelong friendships he made and maintained are a true testament to his quick wit and good nature. There was no one as close to him as his "baby sister", Suzanne. He was her “big” brother and her best friend.
Chuck enjoyed all the New England sports teams and now Tampa Bay, golfing at Sandy Burr and Captains on the Cape, and watching any documentary on History, Politics or Transportation. He took pride in his appearance and his vehicles; he also loved his workshop where he tinkered. Chuck appreciated nature and all its creatures, especially his “boys”, Kaizer, Buster, Brewster and his "little girl" Samantha Marie.
He left this life too soon, but he is joining many dear friends and loved ones on the other side who are rehashing the hilarious shenanigans they all shared. Chuck was a gentleman, one-of-a-kind proud American and Patriot, and will be sadly missed, but the laughs and legends live on through the many stories shared by all those who loved him such as his many "brothers and sisters".
Visitation will be held Monday, February 8th, from 4:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home.
