

Linda Lee (Porter) Mattsen, age 75, of Sudbury, MA, passed away on March 4, 2023. She was born on June 1, 1947 in Framingham, MA to the late Emma Ruth (Willis) Porter and Earl C. Porter. Linda is predeceased by her late husband Bradley W. Mattsen, her sisters Barbara Eaton and Abigail Porter, her brothers Clyde Porter, Howard Porter, and Donald Porter and his wife Ellie Porter.
Linda is survived by her children Amy Lee and the late James Lee of Marlboro, MA; April Mattsen-Rogers and husband Don Rogers of Weathersfield, VT; Brad Mattsen and his wife Paula of Chelmsford, MA; her Brother Dennis Porter and his wife Christine of Clinton, MA; and her grandchildren Ben Lee, Jessica Lee, Elizabeth & Ryan Dunham, Joe Plotts, Katie Plotts & Paul Mullane, Hannah Mattsen, Grace Mattsen, Sam Mattsen, niece Carol and John Stearns of Oakland, FL, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Linda enjoyed family barbeques, 4th of July parades, pool parties, Christmas time, Maine, and Hampton Beach trips, travelling around finding antique shops and her visits and excursions with her very dear friend of many years, Bev Golden. Linda was also a very familiar face at TJ Maxx in Sudbury where she worked for 31 years. She enjoyed her summer days working and visiting River’s Edge Garden Center, which her brother Howard and his wife Donna Porter opened, and is now operated by her niece, Jennifer. Linda has always been a resident of Sudbury and Framingham and her late husband, Brad, worked for the Sudbury Water District. Linda also found time to pursue her love of antiques by operating Apple Tree Antiques in Sudbury with her daughter April, and they always enjoyed the hunt for new pieces whenever possible.
Funeral Service in the Duckett Funeral Home, 656 Boston Post Road, SUDBURY on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. Visiting Hours will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday from 3:00-7:00 PM.
