I am exceedingly grateful for Lou sharing his journey with me the youngest cousin of our generation. He was kind, generous, kept in touch with his inner child. While most memories are from early childhood, I vividly recall our happy times. Bright Blessings cousin
Lou and Peace be with you. With Family !ove! Dorothy

I am so sorry that my cousin Lou has passed.
Though I was 14 years younger than Lou, I always felt that he cared about me and actually enjoyed my company. The Celtics and Bruins games that Lou took me to were highlights of my childhood (in my last phone conversation with Lou, he told me that the sports team he followed most was the Patriots).
Lou showed his love for family in many ways. He and Moira looked after the older relatives - they drove to Gloucester every summer to take my mother Clara out to breakfast. They frequently checked in on other elderly family members and cared for one (perhaps more than one) in their home.
I am grateful that Lou and all my Carney cousins - Jerry, Bob, Ellen, and Don - have been a part of my life.
With love,
Joanna (Jo)

Moira and the "boys",
Lou was a good man... He could always be counted on to be there in tough times.... I had great respect for him.
