Robert A. Malerbi of Sudbury died Friday, March 18, 2011 at Orchard Hill Assisted Living following a brief illness. He was 83 and the husband of the late Mary E. “Betty” (Druken) Malerbi. Born in Boston May 11, 1927, he was the son of the late Giacomo and Georgia (Morchi) Malerbi. He leaves his daughters, Mary Sattile of Marlboro and Michelle Keeffee of Derry, NH. His sons; Robert P. Malerbi of Groton; James Malerbi of Lowell; Peter Malerbi of Townsend; Gregory Malerbi of Scituate and Eric Malerbi of Charlton. He was also the father of
the late Beth Ann Malerbi and the brother of the late Aldo Malerbi. Mr. Malerbi enjoyed gardening and was a avid candlepin bowler. He was a WW II Naval Veteran and a member of the Sudbury Post # 191, American Legion. Funeral services will be held from the Duckett-J. S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Rd., Rt. 20, Sudbury, Thurs., March 24, at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 160 Concord Rd., Sudbury at 10:00 o’clock. Interment with Naval Honors will follow at New Town Cemetery, Sudbury. Memorial donations should be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
