Sheila Katzl

Sheila Katzl of Marlboro, died Friday August 16, 2013 at University of Massachustts Medical Center-Marlboro Hospital following an illness of 2 years. She was 70 years of age and the wife of the late Werner F. Katzl who died in 1996. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Saul and Minnie (Rosen) Festinger. Mrs. Katzl was the former Business Office Manager of Sudbury Pines Extended Care Facility in Sudbury where she had been employed for 21 years. She retired in 2011 due to ill health. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Jennifer K. and Weston Schofield of Ashland and her siblings; Paula Besson and her husband, Richard Pendzick and Steven Festinger. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 22, at 10:00 am at the Duckett-J. S. Waterman &Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Rd., Rt. 20, Sudbury. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.
