William Dana Sweet passed away peacefully on August 2, 2021 in Framingham, MA. He was born on September 15, 1943 to Arthur and Hattie Sweet in Cambridge, MA. William was lucky enough to marry his high school sweetheart, Estelle Sweet (Skolis) in August of 1968 and they were happily married for 49 years. After serving his country in the Navy, William worked as a Central Office Technician for Verizon for a number of years. Some of Williams’s passions were woodworking, photography, computers, gardening and his faithful dog, Harley.
William is preceded in death by his loving wife, Estelle and his brother, Arthur Sweet. He is survived by his sons William and Matthew Sweet of Sudbury and Paul Sweet of West Boylston, his grandchildren Tyler and Emily Sweet of NM and Jashara Sweet of Auburn, MA, his great grandchildren Scarlet and Jackson from NM and many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed.
A visitation will be held at Duckett-Waterman Funeral Home on Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 2-4 pm with a Funeral Service immediately following at 4 pm. Interment will be private at a later date
