Anna Carol Mazzini

2/13/1917 – 7/28/2013

Anna Mazzini of Montebello formerly of the Bronx and Del Ray Beach, FL passed away on July 28th, 2013. The youngest of eight, four brothers and three sisters, Anna was the last to survive. She loved the family she was born into and the family she created.

As an immigrant from Vasto, Italy at twelve years old, she learned English and wanted to do everything the American, modern way and started calling herself Anne. With only a ninth grade education she was proud to work as a bookkeeper at Katz Communication in New York City.

Anna was lovingly cared for by her only daughter Marion and son-in-law Ronald Promerance. Her husband Philip predeceased her in 1965. She will be missed by her two grandchildren Gregory Milazzo of Montville, NJ and Laurie LaValle of New City, NY and her great grandchildren Frankie, Marissa, Dominic and a great granddaughter to be.

Visitation to be the 31st day of July from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial to be at Sacred Heart Church, Suffern, NY on the 1st day of August at 10am with internment to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
