

Daniel was born to David and Barbara (Neffas) Ordas on August 21, 1980, in Suffern, NY. He
had a passion for cooking and graduated from the Culinary Institute in New York City. He did
his internship at Marcello’s and accepted a position as chef when it was done. He also worked
at the ‘76 House in Tappan before the lure of adventure struck him.
He left Suffern with his good friend Chris Mason and headed to Reno, Nevada, getting a chef’s
position at Charlie Palmer’s Steakhouse in the Grand Sierra Resort Casino. After a few years
he left and accepted a sous chef position at Campo Italian Restaurant. He was promoted to
executive chef at Campo Mammoth (Lakes) in California. His final position was back at Charlie
Palmers as executive chef.
Daniel will be missed by his parents David and Barbara Ordas, his siblings David C. Ordas,
Deborah D’Ambrosio, and Denise Del Valle (Anthony), and his nieces and nephews Nicole,
Christopher and Tyler D’Ambrosio, Steven Del Valle, and Tabitha and Anika Ordas.
