Florence Elaine Mohan

Florence Elaine Mohan of Airmont, NY passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. She was 74 years old. Florence was born on September 22, 1946 to the late John and Florence (Durkin) Goodfellow.

Florence is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Peter J. Mohan; loving children, Kristin Broderick (Rich), Peter Mohan (Stephanie), Patrick Mohan (Alyssa) and Kathryn Mohan and devoted sisters, Gail Curtin, Lorraine Goonan, Nancy Marano and Kathy Masserano. She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren, Shea, Jack, Kate, Sean, Dylan, Maris, Simon, Charlotte and Anna and her caring brother’s-in-law, John T. Mohan and Robert Mohan, and many nieces and nephews.

Florence loved working at Don Bosco Prep High School for 13 years, where she was awarded the Mama Margaret award for embodying the spirit of St. John Bosco's mother. Her primary passion was caring for her children and her grandchildren with love and support.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 from 3-7pm at the WANAMAKER & CARLOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 177 Rt. 59, Suffern, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:15am on Tuesday, July 27th at the Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, NJ. Cremation Services will follow and be private.
