Florence M. Roefs, 77 of Nanuet NY, born March 27, 1934 to the late Willis and Sarah Bulson of Stony Point. She was predeceased by her loving husband; Ronald D. Roefs on March 23, 1996 and siblings; Elizabeth McElroy, Anna Hamilton and George Bulson, all of Stony Point.
She was a beloved mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters; Deborah Smolley and husband George of Middletown NY, Nancy Lord and her husband Michael of Stony Point, Bonnie Roefs Maiello of North Carolina and Lisa A. Roefs of Nanuet. She had 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Monday, May 23, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. The funeral service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 11:00am with the interment to follow at Brick Church Cemetery, New Hempstead, NY.
