George Bruce Peterson a lifelong resident of Suffern, NY passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the age of 60. George was born August 1955 to George and Virginia Peterson in Englewood, NJ. He graduated from Suffern High School and Rockland Community College. George spent many summers in the Thousand Islands boating and enjoying the beauty of the area. He is at peace after a long illness.
He is survived by his caring sister Gay Jone Carroll of Mahwah, NJ, cherished niece Susan Spencer and nephew Alan Carroll, and by his adored great nephew Noah Spencer. George is predeceased by his parents George and Virginia Peterson.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
