Guiqing Yi

Guiqing Yi, 86, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025, in New City, NY

She was a devoted wife to Chuanqin Xiao for more than 55 years and a loving mother to Xin Xiao and Lily Xiao. A proud grandmother to Johnny Napolitano and Liz Xing. Guiqing was a remarkable woman who made a lasting impact on her family and community. As the first college student from her village after the establishment of the Peoples Republic of China, she exemplified a dedication to learning and a tireless work ethic.

Guiqing found joy in life through travel, cooking, and actively participating in church activities. Her kindness and compassion touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her family and friends. The loving heart and dedication of Guiqing Yi will always be remembered.

Her devoted daughter Xin Xiao and her husband Eugene Napolitano.

Her devoted daughter Lily Xiao and her husband Yangchuan Xing.

Her loving grandson John Xiao Napolitano.

Her loving granddaughter Liz Xing.
