Jacqueline McClintock died peacefully on October 19, 2020 at home peacefully with her husband by her side, after a 9-month struggle with Glioblastoma. Jacqueline was born in the Bronx, NY on August 10th, 1950 to the late Josephine and George Gaspar.
Jacqueline graduated from Ramsey High School and the Valley Hospital School of Radiologic Technology. In her early life she worked for Celco Engineering Labs in Mahwah, NJ. Before working as a daycare provider for the Suffern YMCA for 15 years Jacqueline was a homemaker where she took pride in raising her family. She also opened her home throughout the years to family and friends taking care of their children when they had nowhere else to turn for childcare.
Creating memories and family traditions with her daughters as they were growing up that would carry on to her grandchildren was extremely important to her. She absolutely loved going to her grandchildren’s sports events, dance recitals and school functions. Jacqueline was the typical doting wife, mother and grandmother putting her family, children, and grandchildren first.
Jacqueline had the most loving and true relationships with her friends that spanned just about her entire life. She looked forward to the time she spent with her friends including routine Sunday breakfast’s, late night phone calls, New Year’s Eve rituals, Suffern Hose Co. functions and of course cruising to the Caribbean. Some of her dearest friends were able to be with her on her final day before she was called home to God, giving her great comfort.
