Laura L. Buckley

Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Laura Buckley of Sloatsburg, NY passed away peacefully in her home on August 26, 2020. She was 62. Laura was born in Wells, NY to William and Marie Louise VonderHeide. She attended Wells Central School and furthered her education at Fulton-Montgomery Community College earning a degree in nursing. Laura spent the majority of her career as an ICU Nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY. Laura is survived by her husband Tom and her two children, Jessica Mitchell of Tuxedo and a son Thomas W Buckley of Sloatsburg. She is also survived by her two grandchildren Adrianna and Nicholas whom she loved dearly and many other family members that were close to her heart. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday August 28th at Wanamaker and Carlough funeral home in Suffern, NY from 3- 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at Wanamaker and Carlough on Saturday August 29th at 10 am. The family appreciates the love and support from all who loved Laura but requests that the funeral be family only in order to follow state pandemic guidelines.
