

Shelly is survived by her daughter, Jamie; her son, Matthew; her daughter-in-law, Elisa; and her grandsons, Nicholas and Jake. She also leaves behind her dearest friend, Gail, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.
Shelly was predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Ruth Solomon, and her brother, Philip Solomon.
Shelly dedicated her career to teaching, touching the lives of countless students with her passion for education and her unique sense of humor.
In her free time, Shelly pursued her love for travel and cherished moments spent with friends and family. Her annual tradition of spending Christmas in Florida with her cousins Robin, Joe, Melody, Chris, and Kelly was a highlight of her year.
Known for her quirky and endearing personality, Shelly had a contagious laugh that could brighten anyone's day. She was eccentric and never shied away from being her authentic self. Her loud and boisterous presence was a testament to her zest for life.
Shelly found immense joy in the theater, and enjoyed attending Broadway shows. She also cherished the shore and the simple pleasures of sunbathing by the pool with a drink in hand.
Above all, Shelly's love for her grandsons, Nicholas and Jake, knew no bounds. They were the light of her life.
