Alice Lou McDaniel was born on July 9, 1946 in Eagle Lake, Texas. She was the first daughter born to Mr. and Mrs. Eldin Kveton. Alice attended Eagle Lake High School and graduated in 1964. Alice continued her studies at Wharton County Junior College and University Of Houston. Alice married Gordon McDaniel and together they had twin boys, James Eldin McDaniel and John Andrew McDaniel.
For 52 years, Alice worked in the Oil & Gas Industry in Houston, Texas. Her career began at Gulf Oil, moving on to RJ Brown Deepwater, and ultimately retiring at Technip.
Alice enjoyed spending her spare time at the river house in New Braunfels with all of the kids and family. While James and John were lucky enough to have her as a mom, many of the extended friends and family were also lucky to call her mom. Her home was always open and she was an amazing listener.
Alice also enjoyed going to casinos and playing bingo with friends and family. She was always the winner in the group!
