Anna Marie (Lojo) Teltschik passed away on Friday February 8, 2019. A native Houstonian that grew up in the East End. She attended Immaculate Conception grade school and graduated from Incarnate Word Academy in 1958. After high school she went to Massey Business College where she learned skills that served her well for decades as a secretary. For 15 years Anna worked for Magcobar-Drilling Fluid, a division of Dresser Industries.
She found the love of her life in Ernest Teltschik and they were married in 1963. She was mother to Richard Teltschik, who fought a 14 year battle with cancer until his death at age 42. Her daughter Sheri was a companion with her mother in caring for Rick. At the same time Anna was caring for her mom who suffered from Alzheimers. During her life Anna was actively involved in numerous religious and community organizations. Some of the groups include Beta Sigma Phi, Compassionate Friends, Charity Guild, Catholic Daughters, St. Laurence Ladies Guild and St. Laurence Social Concerns.
She was usually the first to arrive and one of the last to leave at any function-a true “social butterfly”. If food was involved you could be sure that everyone was asking for recipes of her Corn Casserole, Ambrosia Fruit Salad or Quick Cherry Crunch dessert.
Anna is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ernest and daughter, Sheri Fullerton and husband Brett and their daughter, Paige. She is also survived by her 3 brothers, Ralph Lojo, Mike and wife Marivalda, and Charlie and wife Rachel and nephews, Ken Lojo, Steve Lojo, Mike Lojo and niece Andrea Ramsey.
Predeceased were her parents, Miguel and Alice Lojo,
and her son Richard Teltschik and sister in law Sheila Lojo.
Many knew her by the name, Ann or Anne. To her family and close friends she was affectionately called
MIMI.
Her beautiful smile, that all admired, will be a lasting memory for all.
