

Avery Jermaine Wilson 47, of Alexandria, Louisiana, passed in Houston, Texas due to chronic heart failure and kidney disease on March 13th, 2024, at 3:13 pm. He was born in Alexandria, Louisiana on April 28th, 1976, to Edith Moreno “Wilson.” Avery lived in Louisiana until he was 15 years old. He attended Pineville High School and graduated in 1994. Avery moved to Houston, TX but moved back to Louisiana when he was 18 years old but came back to Houston as his permanent residence months later. He became a devoted father who dedicated his life to providing love, guidance, and support to his beloved children Aalilyah, Alexiah, Jamari, Avery Jr., and Avery ’ana Wilson. His unwavering commitment to parenthood defined him. Those who knew and loved him will forever cherish his memory. He was a light that blessed so many people’s lives. He leaves behind a legacy of aunts, brothers, sisters, uncles, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memories. I pray we all will remember Avery for his resilience, courage, and willingness to live on in the hearts of many.

A memorial service to celebrate Avery Jermaine Wilson's life will be held on 03/23/2024 at 2640 Live Oak Dr. Rosenburg, TX 77471 at 2 pm. We will be hosting a Repast reception at 2014 Meadow Lane Richmond, TX 77469 at the end of the memorial. Friends and family are invited to join in remembrance and support
during this difficult time.
