Bram Joseph Quintus-Bosz, affectionately known as ‘The Dude’, was born on May 4, 1999, in Orleans Parish, New Orleans, to Anne and Aksel Quintus-Bosz. Bram grew into a kind, cheerful, and funny young man. He is remembered for his love of people and his clever sense of humor; you knew Bram truly cherished a connection when he gave you a nickname.
Bram had a wide range of interests. He was a dedicated Boy Scout, earning the rank of Life Scout with Troop 616 in Sugar Land. Many knew him for his lifelong love of planes, trains, and vehicles, and he possessed an impressive depth of knowledge across many topics.
He was also a talented musician with perfect pitch and the ability to improvise along to songs on the spot. Over the years, he learned to play the guitar, keyboard, accordion, and drums. Additionally, he was captivated by languages, teaching himself to read and write Spanish and learning some French.
One of his truest loves was airplanes, especially Southwest Airlines and Houston’s Hobby Airport. His volunteer work at the 1940 Air Terminal Museum was one of his most cherished activities, and his face would light up whenever he visited the airport or flew on a Southwest jet.
A significant part of Bram’s growth was his apprenticeship at the Houston HUB, which he attended since its founding in 2015. There, he developed the friendships and skills that helped him flourish. As a result, he earned a position at Bitty & Beau’s in Rice Village, becoming a member of the original crew at that location.
Closer to home, Bram was known for his love of cats. In quieter moments, he could often be found cradling Winston, a black barn cat turned suburban neighborhood watchman for the Quintus-Bosz family. Winston was affectionately known as the “Stoner,” “BoBcat,” or the “Baby of Bram.”
Bram often shared that his goal was to live independently and spoke of Galveston as his “happy place.” The joy, love, and care that he fostered will be sorely missed. He is survived by his grandfather Ken, his Abuelita Cecilia, his parents, and his two sisters, Eva and Olivia.
A celebration of life will be held at Parkway United Methodist Church in Sugar Land, Texas, on April 11, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
