BRUCE JOHN FLEMING, of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away into the arms of his Lord and Savior at home on December 10, 2015. He graduated from Fenger Academy High School in Chicago, IL, in 1970, and was a member of the baseball team that won the city championship. He continued his education at the University of Illinois and graduated with a B.A. Degree in Communications. Later he attended Ashburn Bible Institute in Chicago. Bruce lovingly served his family. He enjoyed working to preserve our country’s freedom, talk radio, skiing, and a daily trip to the gym.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Nancy Ludwick Fleming; two children, Stephen and Lisa Fleming; sister, Cynthia (Thomas Schaub) Baker of Munster, IN; brother, Brian (Kari) Fleming of Weatherford, TX; and one grandchild, Joshua Fleming. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Kathryn Fleming.
A Memorial Celebration of Bruce’s life will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Second Baptist Church, 6400 Woodway Drive, Houston, TX 77057.
