

DONALD CLEMENT LEO, age 71, passed away, on July 15, 2013. Don was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and raised in Father Flanagan’s Boys Town in Omaha, Nebraska, where he graduated in 1960. He was proud of his time spent in the Army & was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant. Don then moved to Texas to attend the University of Houston.
Don is survived by his wife of 39 years, Dolores; daughter, Felicia; son, James; son-in-law, Chris; and grandson, Logan who was the light of his life. He is also survived by his brother, John Dwight; and sisters, Gloria Nelson, Angela Fleming, Lisa Dwight, and Dorothy Dwight, BVM. Don also leaves behind numerous family members and friends who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and James Leo; Marguerite and Dick Dwight; siblings, Chris McDonald and Rick Dwight; and brother-in-law, Swede Nelson.
Don was a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 1113 for many years, and was very proud when his son James earned his Eagle award. He was also proud of his daughter Felicia when she reached the Girl Scouts highest honor, the Gold Award. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #7036 of Notre Dame Church where he was parishioner for over 35 years.
Don enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish and hunt as well as look for antiques. He was an avid train collector and loved working on puzzles when relaxing at the beach house. He also loved woodworking and made several items for his children and other family members.
