A very dear neighbor and beautiful person who I enjoyed speaking to on her way to the mail box every afternoon. Amazed to see her walking with her cane at her age. Rest in peace my dear friend.

My deepest condolences to the family of Ella Mae Fitzgerald. She was a sweet and very cute lady with a wonderful smile and deep soul. I enjoyed our visits very much and she was a very special neighbor at Kings Arms for 9 years. She will always hold a place in my heart. Praise God she is in heaven now. A true angel.

It was a joy and and a blessing to have known Mom Fitzgerald for the three years I’ve been a member at the church. My heart rejoiced each time I got to see her beautiful face and spirit!! She will be sorely missed!! I thank God for the experience of knowing such a wonderful spirit!!

Please know that the God of all comfort and compassion will keep your hearts as we lament and celebrate the homegoing of  
our beloved Ella Mae Fitzgerald, "Mama Mae." She was a wonderful Christian woman and a loving friend.  She touched numerous lives at Pilgrim Journey Missionary Baptist Church, as well as throughout the community.
May beautiful, precious memories sustain you during this time of sorrow.
