James "Jim" John Keirnan

JAMES JOHN KEIRNAN (JIM), age 67, was called to eternal life on Saturday, July 24, 2010. A native Houstonian, Jim was born December 26, 1943, to James H. and Anne Florzak Keirnan at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 22 years and the mother of his children, Carole Lee Keirnan; and his sisters, Kathleen and Mary Alice Keirnan.

Jim is survived by his wife of 21 years, Mary-Ellen Keirnan; daughters, Katy Keirnan Fexer (husband Harley), Lindsey Keirnan, who was also his caretaker, Ali Keirnan Moon (husband Brian), and Jessica Johs Enyart (husband Scott); grandchildren, Harrison and Gillian Fexer, and Ethen, Carol Ann, and Emily Moon; brothers, Mike Keirnan (wife Joy), and Casey Keirnan (wife Cathy); sisters, Patti Keirnan Biles (husband Louis), Lexie Keirnan Ofczarzak (husband Bernard), and Maggie Keirnan Ferrar (husband Dale); and numerous other loving relatives and friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, in the Morrow Chapel of The Settegast-Kopf Co. at Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Frwy, Sugar Land, (Williams Trace Exit), with a Vigil Service beginning at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 8200 Roos Rd, Houston, with the Rev. Wayne Wilkerson, Celebrant.
