Jane Carol Fekete Smith, born on June 23rd, 1952, went to be with Our Lord on July 8th, 2024. Jane was known for her vibrant, strong, joyful personality, and her extreme love of horses. A Saturday did not pass where she was not out at the barn, working with her horse and doing the things she loved. She was a devoted mother and wife, who had just celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary on June 22nd with her beloved husband, Ted. She was a lover of cooking, reading, traveling, and music. Jane is preceded in death by her father, Zolton Fekete, her mother, Violet Rhodes, and her Step Father, Ted Rhodes. She is survived by her husband, Ted, her children, Eric and Lauren, and their spouses, Emily and Chad, and her grandchildren, Katelyn, Harrison, Caroline, Cameron, and Connor. Jane will be remembered for her love of her family, and her desire to be with them and to experience life with them in every way.
A memorial service will be held for Jane on August 2nd at 2pm at Faith Methodist Church in Richmond, TX.
