Jeff was born on December 24, 1968, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to Gregory Wolfe and the late Jeneane Wilson Wolfe.
Jeff was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. To know him was to know steady strength, deep faith, and unwavering love. He led his family with remarkable humility and integrity, always guiding, encouraging, and inspiring them to be their very best.
During his courageous battle with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer, Jeff displayed extraordinary perseverance, dignity, and trust in God. Even in the face of hardship, his faith never wavered. He carried himself with grace, more concerned with comforting others than himself, leaving a lasting example of courage and selflessness.
He is survived by his loving wife, Molly, his partner and best friend in a beautiful marriage of more than 33 years. Together they built a home filled with laughter, faith, and unconditional love. He was a proud and loving father to MaryCharles Wolfe (Zack Justice), Delaney Wolfe Anderson (Ryan Anderson), and Tucker Jude Wolfe. He is also survived by his father, Greg Wolfe (Debbie Wolfe); his sister, Ginny Wolfe Nealen of Owensboro, Kentucky; and many extended family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeneane Wilson Wolfe, and his grandmother, Lucille Grant Wilson.
Nothing brought Jeff greater joy than cheering on his children in every season of their lives. Walking Delaney down the aisle in December was a cherished and sacred moment. He was joyfully anticipating the upcoming marriage of MaryCharles and Zack in March. One of Jeff’s greatest blessings this past year was having Tucker by his side, supporting him and Molly with steadfast love and strength.
Jeff worked in the gas industry for more than 30 years, where he was a respected leader, mentor, and trusted confidant to many. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brescia University and later received his MBA from Rice University.
Jeff was known for his warm smile, outgoing personality, and quick sense of humor. He was a faithful member of the St. Laurence Catholic Church and School community and was well known for his dedicated “Colony Park neighborhood patrol.” He loved the beach, country music, and gathering people together. His gift for making others feel welcome and included never wavered and will continue to inspire all who knew him.
A visitation gathering of Jeff’s friends and family will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Settegast-Kopf Funeral Home at Sugar Creek from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., with a Catholic Rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Laurence Catholic Church.
