

Jessica Kristen Haley, beloved wife, daughter, half-sister, step-mother, and devoted friend, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025 after a courageous three-year battle with colorectal cancer. Her resilience, warmth, and boundless compassion touched everyone she encountered.
Jessica was born in Columbus, Ohio, to Stan and Kay Haley on February 21, 1977. At the age of three they moved to Sugar Land, Texas, where she was involved in numerous youth activities, including dance, music, sports, scouts, and church. She graduated from Dulles High School in 1995, where she was a key member of the school's dance team, the Dulles Dolls. She pursued her passion for learning and creativity at the University of Texas at Austin, earning her bachelor's degree of fine arts in 2000.
Her vibrant career journey took her to Utah, where she contributed to the success of the 2002 Winter Olympics, a period filled with pride and memorable experiences. Jessica continued to embrace her love for the arts at the Hale Centre Theatre beginning in 2009, followed by the Utah Shakespeare Festival in 2010, enriching the lives of countless audiences and colleagues alike.
Returning to her Texas roots, Jessica settled back in Sugar Land in 2012, where she met the love of her life, Christopher Clemence, in 2013. Their shared journey brought joy, mutual support, and enduring love to their lives. Jessica began working at ABC Doors in 2017, where her professionalism and dedication earned admiration and respect from colleagues.
Jessica found immense joy and comfort in caring for her cherished plants and beloved dogs, two passions that reflected her nurturing spirit and endless patience. Her kindness and nurturing extended far beyond her immediate family, leaving an indelible mark on her community.
Jessica is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Christopher Clemence; father, Stanford Haley; bonus mom, Gail Bowman; half-sister, Mikal Bowman; step-daughter Adelaide Clemence; and her beloved dogs, Bert and Etta. In addition, she is survived by many cherished family members and friends. Jessica was preceded in death by her mother, Marlene Kay Haley.

A celebration of Jessica's life will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025, beginning with visitation at 10:30 AM and service at 11:30 AM at the Settegast-Kopf Funeral Home Sugar Creek, located at 15015 Southwest Freeway in Sugar Land, Texas.
