

Joe was born in Newark, New Jersey and was raised mostly in the Spotswood New Jersey area. Joe attended St. John’s Grammar School and graduated from St. Peter’s High School in New Brunswick New Jersey, where he played both baseball and football.
He attended Seton Hall University in South Orange New Jersey where he was a proud member of the Pershing Rifles ROTC Drill Team.
After graduation Joe was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. He was deployed to Vietnam where he proudly served his country in the Infantry. While serving in Vietnam Joe was promoted to the rank of Captain.
Joe began his civilian career as a claims adjuster in the insurance industry for Coronia Claims Corporation. Joe and several others started their own company, Pro Claim America, where he worked until recently retiring. He continued as a consultant until his death.
In his leisure time he was an avid golfer and loved travelling with his family and friends. Mr. D’heron was predeceased by his father Joseph A. D’heron, his mother, Margaret (Fagan) D’heron, his brother, Deputy Chief James D’heron, and his sister, Margaret (D’heron) Coleman. He is survived by his wife Suzanne (Smith) D’heron, his son Gregory Scot D’heron, granddaughter Jessica Nicole D'heron, his brother William D’heron, his sister Theresa (D’heron) Rachel.
The funeral will take place March 28 at The Settegast Kopf Co. at Sugar Creek , 15015 SW Freeway, Sugar Land TX. At 12 pm with a repast after.
