JOT HOLIVER HODGES, III, age 52, of Missouri City, Texas, died unexpectedly, the week of July 8, 2012. A private family service was held Saturday, July 21, 2012, per his request, at the First United Methodist Church in Missouri City, Texas.
He was born November 3, 1959, to Virginia Pardue Hodges and his predeceased father, Jot H. Hodges, Jr. of Missouri City, Texas.
He is survived by his two sons, Jot H. Hodges IV and Taylor Hodges and their mother, Tamara Blackburn Hodges; and sisters, Debbie Hodges Farrell Bruce and Darlene Hodges Leiker and their families.
Jot attended Dulles High School in Stafford Texas, graduated from San Marcos Baptist Academy in 1978, and graduated from Sam Houston State University State University in 1983 with a BBA degree. Jot also attended Southwest Texas State University where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity.
Jot enjoyed scuba diving, sky diving, water and snow skiing, hunting, fishing, and all that the outdoors offered.
