Lavette Arnold

Larissa Lavette (McIntyre) Arnold, age 50, of Katy, Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. She was born to Mr. Jerry McIntyre and Mrs. Elaine Griffith on February 15, 1973 in Greenville, South Carolina.

Lavette, a vibrant and passionate individual, had a variety of interests that brought her joy and fulfillment. Among her many passions were creating beautiful and unique crafts, indulging in exciting games of Bingo, taking trips to the casino to try her luck, baking mouth-watering treats in her cozy kitchen, organizing and managing memorable events, expressing her emotions through the art of poetry, and hosting fun-filled in-home movie nights for her loved ones to enjoy.

Lavette is preceded in death by her mother Elaine Janice Griffith.

She was the beloved wife of James Arnold, the loving mother of Brianna Stokes, Jermoni and Joshua Arnold, the daughter of Jerry McIntyre, the sister of Brittany Laing (Glenroy), and Michael Battle (Yajaira), and Aunt of Christopher Laing.

The family would like to give special thanks to Jerry and Debra McIntyre, Iris and Michael Little, Everlyne Wright, Onnie and David Smith, LaShun Smith, Ronnie and Freddie and Corri Wardlaw and other relatives and friends who supported the family.

A visitation for Larissa will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM prior to the Funeral Service with Rev. Aaron Thomas officiating on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 5:00 PM, 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478. A reception will follow from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
