Louise Allison Bethell passed away unexpectedly in her home on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 in Missouri City, Texas at the age of seventy. Louise was born on October 7, 1949 in Machias, New York to Jean Stanton Knight and Paul Frederick Bethell.
She is preceded in death by parents Paul and Jean.
Louise is survived by her sons David B. Craig (48) and his partner Dr. Erin C. Callahan, and Ryan M. Craig (45) and his wife Lori R. Craig, her beloved grandchildren Connor Reed Craig (4) and Mackenzie Allison Craig (2), and countless friends and family members across the country.
She graduated from Buffalo State College in 1971 with a degree in Education. Throughout her professional career, Louise worked for Conrail, Permclip Products, Compaq Computer Corporation, and finally for the City of Mission Viejo at the Montanoso and Sierra Recreation and Fitness Centers.
Throughout her life, Louise was an avid animal lover. She was a devoted “Dog Mom” to five Australian Shepherds – Stoli, Indy, Guinness, Merlin, and Ellie.
A Memorial Service is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek , 15105 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, TX 77478, with a reception to follow. Her sons will jointly celebrate Louise’s life and officiate the ceremony.
