Marion Ruth Schladt
16 October, 1924 – 9 June, 2017
Marion Ruth Schladt, age 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 9, 2017, in Sugar Land, Texas. Born October 16, 1924, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Solomon and Pearl Komorow, she grew up in northern Illinois and graduated from Von Steuben Metropolitan High School on the north side of Chicago. A homemaker and care giver all of her life, Marion was happiest being a wife, mom , grandma, and great-grandma, as witnessed by the dozens of family photos which graced her walls. She lived in many states including Illinois, Wisconsin, Arizona, Georgia and Texas. She was a nature lover and took time to admire and smell flowers of all types, and she spent a lot of time watching birds, often laughing as the humming birds sped past. She was a avid Chicago Cubs fan and was especially excited to see them finally win the World Series.
