Stephen “Steve” Coluccio will forever be remembered as a loving husband, supportive father, and devoted grandfather. A self-starter since he was young, he put himself through college with scholarships and by working as a Teaching Assistant. He earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and went on to have a successful, 30-year career with General Electric. When in New York for his initial work training, he met Anne Marie, who became his wife of 52 years.
When he retired, Steve spent many of his days on the greens at the country club with his golf friends, pursuing his favorite hobby. He loved good food, good wine, and spending time watching his grandchildren play sports. Mostly, he loved his family, for whom he thoughtfully provided and cared for every day of his life.
After battling cancer for the past five years, he passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on May 3, 2022 at the age of 74. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph, and mother, Gilda. Steve is survived by his loving wife, Anne Marie; his daughter, Jeana; son-in-law, Michael; and grandchildren, Kendall and Carson. He is also survived by his brother, Joseph, in Pennsylvania. While his love and care will remain with us on this earth forever, may the Lord receive Stephen into his arms and provide eternal peace in heaven.
