Symbol Wee Ordeneaux, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on Monday, Jan. 16, 2017. She was born on February 3, 1925 in Lutcher, La. Symbol was preceded in death by her son, Roddy Ordeneaux. Symbol is survived by her husband , Elmo Ordeneaux. They enjoyed a wonderful 72 years of marriage. She is also survived by her son, Greg Ordeneaux, wife, Carolyn; Paula Grossman ( daughter) and husband Guy and Michalyn Ordeneaux. She has 5 grandchildren, Keith Ordeneaux, Bunny Denton, Justin Ordeneaux, Aimee Raley, and Chris Ordeneaux and 8 great grandchildren. The Ordeneaux family will greet extended family and friends for a visitation on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017 at The Settegast-Kopf Co.@ Sugar Creek from 4:30-8:00 P.M. with a rosary at 6:30 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Sugar Land at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow immediately following the mass at Forest Park Cemetery on Westheimer Rd. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The American Cancer Society .
