She was a native of Beaumont, Texas and had been a resident of Florien for the last 2 years moving from DeQuincy. Anita enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Tammy Swarthout and husband, Eric of Orange, Texas, and Ursala Thibodeaux of Starks; her step-sons, Jered Seabaugh and Andy Seabaugh, both of Dequincy; her siblings, Danny Stinson and wife, Carol of Nederland, Texas and Janice Prewitt and husband, Bobby of Florien; her granddaughter, Megan Lucas; her step-grandchildren, Christian, Emily, Gracie, Sam, Luke, Rylee, and Tristan Seabaugh; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marlin Seabaugh.
