Barbara Pine Terro

Barbara Pine Terro was a lifelong resident of the southwest Louisiana area.

Barbara was born on September 14, 1947 in Lake Charles and passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Harbor Hospice after losing her 11 year battle with cancer. She loved her grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time with them making bracelets. She loved gardening and was known for having a green thumb. Barbara will be missed greatly.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, David Terro of DeQuincy; four children, Michelle Terro of Edgerly, Crystal Terro, Wendy Terro, and Brent Terro all of Vinton; a brother, Ernest Pine and wife, Martha of Sulphur; Mother In Law, Mary Terro two brothers-in-law, Mark Terro and wife, Suzette, and Danny Terro and wife, Carolyn all of Sulphur; two sisters-in-law, Linda Terro LeBeouf of Sulphur, and Becky Terro Thibodeaux and husband, Chuck of Moss Lake; and eight grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Annette Gatte, parents, Jim and Janette Pine, and an infant brother, Jimmy Pine, and Father in Law, Joseph Terro Jr.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Chapel with Rev. Phil Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in Farquhar Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
