Barry Carlton McCallum

Barry was born on August 27, 1953, in Lake Charles, LA and he spent all of his life in Louisiana, the majority of it in Sulphur. He studied history at McNeese State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1975. Barry also received an Associate of Science degree from the University Of Southwestern Louisiana College Of Engineering in 1982.

For the last 30 years, Barry has worked for Stine. He was a member of Henning Memorial United Methodist Church in Sulphur. Barry is survived by his daughter, Mallory; his mother, Gerry Stine McCallum; brother and sister-in-law, Brent and Cindy McCallum; and nieces, Jennifer McCallum and Rebecca McCallum.

Barry was preceded in death by his father, Walter Carlton McCallum, Jr.

His funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 1, 2015 in Henning Memorial United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery South.
