Charlotte Boudreaux Tassin, 78, of Sulphur, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025. She was born to her late parents, Arvin “Toby” and Lena “Joyce” Steen on December 19, 1946 in Sulphur, Louisiana. Charlotte enjoyed fishing, and loved everything Mardi Gras, and the New Orleans Saints.
She is survived by her two daughters, Joycelyn Clark and Terri Boudreaux (Heath), both of Sulphur, Louisiana; one son, Todd Boudreaux (Amanda) of Houston, Texas; one brother, Martin D. Steen of Allen, Texas; grandchildren, Dakota Smith (Johnna), Kallie Smith, Charlene LaCombe, Audrey Clark, Jennifer Phillips, Gavin Boudreaux, and Dillon Boudreaux; her great grandchildren, Makaela Hilton, Lucas Smith, and Lennon Smith; along with nieces and nephews, Kristi Robinson, Sherry Cutrer, and Richard Steen, Jr.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, Houston Tassin; her parents; one brother, Richard Steen, Sr.; her granddaughter, Catherine Boudreaux; along with her nephew, Charles Cole.
A Celebration of Charlotte’s life will be held at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home in Sulphur, Louisiana on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Jo Ann Cooper officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, beginning at 9:30 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines South Cemetery in Carlyss, Louisiana.
