Cory Allen Denecola, 52, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at his residence. He was born on December 27, 1970 in Irving, Texas. He was a volunteer fireman in Mississippi from 2003 until 2006. Cory loved working outdoors and fixing anything he could put his hands on. He was the life of the party and could make anyone laugh.
He is survived by his three children, Sara Denecola of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Joseph Denecola of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Megan Denecola of Irving, Texas; three brothers, Paul Cormier, Steve Cormier, and Mark Denecola, all of Mississippi; two sisters, Jeannie Farni of Van, Texas, and Annie Green of Texas City, Texas; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Cory is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Gay Nell Cormier; grandfather, Lee Richardson; and his nephew, Will Farni.
A Celebration of Cory's life will be held at a later date.
