Dinah Denise Denise Gintz Gatte

A life resident of Sulphur, Denise was a member of The Lighthouse Tabernacle. She was a homemaker devoted to her husband, children and family.

She is survived by her husband, Lonnie R. Gatte; daughters Alonnia McDaniel (Steven) and Chelsey Gatte; grandchildren Conner, Peyton nad Olivia McDaniel and "one on the way"; sisters Brenda Spears (Joe) and Charlotte Kelley; brother Alfred “Bubba” Gintz (Shelia); step mother Clara Gintz and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Calvin Gintz and Loretta Thibodeaux.

Funeral services were at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 24, 2010 in The Lighthouse Tabernacle under direction of Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Pastors Allen Upton and L. P. Upton officiated. Burial was in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Visitation was in the funeral home from 10 am until 9 pm with a 6:00 pm “Celebration of Life Service” on Tuesday. Visitation continued on Wednesday from 9 am until 11 am in the funeral home and from noon until service time in the church.

Pall bearers will be Brad Gintz, Chris Kelley, Brandon Kelley, Travis Spears, Craig Gatte, Mykel Kraemer and Colton Darbonne.
