Geraldine was a lifelong resident of Southwest La., and had been living in Benton for the last seven months. She was a devoted wife and mother and her children were her life.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Halloran; her children, Charles and Michael Chapman and Kayne, Natalie and Mary Halloran; her father, Charles Chapman; grandmother, Sara Chapman; grandfather, James Hackley; father and mother-in-law, John and Nila Halloran; and numerous aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, JoAnn Hackley Chapman; grandparents, Charles Chapman, Martha Chapman and Annie Hackley.
Her funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Fred Reed will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Thursday with a rosary at 6 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday, all in the funeral home.
