

Joan was a native of Portsmouth, Virginia and has resided in Sulphur for the past 35 years. She enjoyed crocheting, working puzzles, playing cards and Facebook. She especially loved spending time with family and friends, and the “granddog” Max. Joan will be remembered as a very loving and generous person. She was an inspiration to all who met her as she battled cancer, with a smile and hug for everyone. “Though she be but little, she is fierce!”~ William Shakespeare
Survivors include her husband of 15 years, Lawrence Eugene Daigle; children, Anne Henry (Paul) of Houston, TX, Carl Mead(Shalane) of Sulphur and Crystal Turner of Lake Charles; step-children, Vickie Spell, Pamela Daigle, Lawrence Eugene Daigle, Jr. , Joseph Daigle all of Sulphur, and Shontal LeJune (Joel) of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Haley, Andrew and Austin Henry and Jordan Seago; step grandchildren, Jace and Oliver LeJune, Lakyn and Alyssa Spell, Tara and Tori Daigle, and Cody Marshall; step-great grandchildren, Bridyce, Jayce, Kylan Wade , Hunter, and Laila Daigle, Rye Owen and Madily Marshall; sister, Donna Frazier; and brother Linwood Rowe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Losker and Evelyn Rowe; and sisters, Gloria Flowers and Shirley Baldwin.
Her funeral service will be at 2pm, Tuesday, July 21st in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South of Carlyss. Dr. Bobby Taylor will officiate.
