Julie retired as an Operator. Julie was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church and volunteered at the church. Julie enjoyed spending time gardening, traveling, and riding her trike! She had a huge heart, volunteering, and adopted rescue dogs. Julie enjoyed spending time with her Pokeno Ladies and friends. Julie was a loving and devoted mother; she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Falyssa Van Winkle, her parents, Carl and Irene Coco, and her brother, Gregory Coco.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Jayson Cody, Connie Cody and husband, Wayne Richard, Timothy Cody Jr., Helen Simoneaux and husband, Courtland, Shonna McBride, and Heather Marceaux and husband, Mitch; grandchildren, Jayson Jr., Lindsay, Emily, Garrett, Shantel, Kira, Patrick, Alyssa, Timothy III, Thomas, John, Kayle, Alonna, Andrew, Elanore, Tyler, Brianna, and Makensie; one great-grandson, Gryffin and one on the way, Brody; brothers and sisters, Peter Coco, Agnes Gowin and husband, Hop, Hubert Coco and wife, Sallye, Robert Coco and wife, Ramona, and Monica Byrne and husband, Kevin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 until time of Rosary at 3:00p.m. in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will follow Rosary at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Jeremy Blocker officiating. Cremation was entrusted to Hixson-Sulphur Memorial.
