Mark Lawrence Doyle, 71, of Sulphur, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. He was born to his late parents, Francis and Florida Doyle on June 18, 1953 in Alma, Quebec Canada. He worked as a Mechanical Engineer for LyondellBasell for 32 years. Mark enjoyed fishing, boating, pickleball, badminton, and golf. He also loved playing guitar and singing to his grandchildren, and to anyone else that would listen.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 46 years, Stella Maxine Doyle; two sons, Shawn Doyle (Amanda) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Jason Doyle (Christina) of Richardson, Texas; brother, Roger Doyle of Austin, Quebec Canada; sister, Michele Caudrey (Colin) of Hudson, Quebec Canada; along with two grandchildren, Harper Doyle and Finn Doyle.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents; along with his brother, Douglas Doyle.
A Celebration of Mark's life will be held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Sulphur, Louisiana on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be in the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church Parish Hall on Saturday, beginning at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
