Nancy Jean Benoit

She was a native and lifelong resident of the Sulphur-Vinton area. Nancy love being outdoors enjoying nature and taking care of her plants. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Sulphur.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, J.L. "Buddy" Benoit of Sulphur; her sons, Greg Benoit of Las Vegas, Nevada, Ray Benoit and wife, Lisa of Sulphur, and Joey Benoit and wife, Jamie of Carthage, New York; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son, Randy Benoit; her parents, Woodson Hardin and Fannie Guidry; and her brother, Wayne Hardin.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly. The Rev. Randall Chesson will officiate. Words of comfort and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
