He was a native of Sulphur and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Rickie had a very outgoing personality and never met a stranger.
Survivors include his siblings, Kayla Dubois and husband, Kenny of Gillis, Gary Martin and wife, Tammy of West Texas, Darrell Martin and wife, Denise of DeQuincy, David Martin and wife, Anne of West Texas, and Kevin Martin of Vinton.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
