She was a native of Egan and had been a resident of Sulphur for the last 46 years. Rose was a very active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. She enjoyed going to SPAR for chair aerobics and walking.
Survivors include her children, Glenda LeBlanc of Port Barre, Trudy Goodman and husband, Reginald of Lumberton, Texas, Karen Stickney and husband, Mark of LaFayette, Georgia, and Craig LeJeune and wife, Keri of Garland, Texas; her siblings, Tressie Batchelor of Sulphur and Albert Oliver of Eunice; twelve grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren, with one on the way. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilford LeJeune; a son, David Keith LeJeune; an infant daughter; and her son-in-law, Philip D. LeBlanc, Sr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 30, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur. The Rev. Tim Goodly will officiate. Burial will be in Tee Mamou Cemetery in Evangeline Parish under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
